About Us
A Local Indonesian Brand
ADIA LAVANI is a local Indonesian brand specialising in daily wear for women, men, crafted from 100% natural cotton and coloured with Indonesian tie-dye techniques using natural dyes. Founded in 2016 by Any Avriani, the brand was born from her passion for sustainability and her experience with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she saw firsthand the urgent need for more eco-conscious fashion solutions. Together with her husband, Jeff Manzini, she envisioned a minimalist yet eye-catching brand that makes sustainability both stylish and accessible.
The inspiration for ADIA LAVANI took root during a trip to Arimatsu Nagoya, Japan, a village famous for its centuries-old tie-dye craft. Witnessing the patience and artistry of the Japanese artisans, Any was moved to bring the same spirit of craftsmanship to Indonesia. The brand was created to fill a gap in the eco-fashion market, where naturally dyed fabrics and clothing were still scarce.
What sets ADIA LAVANI apart is its dedication to local sourcing and slow processes. Each textile is carefully chosen for comfort, while the natural dyes require time and care, making every piece unique. This commitment ensures that ADIA LAVANI’s collections are not only stylish but also respectful of the environment. Today, the brand continues to grow in Jakarta and online, offering simple, minimalist designs with distinctive tie-dye patterns—proof that fashion can be both modern and sustainable.

Behind Every Fabric

PREPARATION & DEVELOPMENT
This pattern development can be achieved through various techniques such as folding, twisting, scrunching, or pleating the fabric and securing it with rubber bands, strings, or even sip ties. The patterns created at this stage will determine the final look of the tie-dye piece.

COLORING
Put Indigo pigment and other ingredients to make indigo vat. Carefully soak the cloth that have been tied up all the way down into indigo vat. Ensure that the cloth is firmly tied and knotted so that the dye does not penetrate into unwanted part.

FINISHING PROCESS
Rinse the fabric in cold water and then carefully loose, deep the fabric into the acidic mixture, without squeezing spread to dry. After that drying the fabrics in indoor room. Once dry, the material will be ready for next processing into the daily clothing.
